Capture The Flag (CTF)
For my previous employer, the Belgian Defense, I designed a logo for a website (among other, classified, requests). The website was designed to test the knowledge of the employees (military and civilian) on the following issues:
- Network
- Security
- Capture the flag
- Game
- Challenges
The eye represents Cyber, as in cyber-observation. This was deemed fitting because the aim of the website was to incite awareness regarding the choice of issues to investigate, through the use of a puzzle, and to promote attention during the actual investigation. The pupil is designed in the form of a pinpoint. This stands for the (potential) answers that are related to network, IT, security, ... Hence also why the globe symbol has been incorporated into the pinpoint design. The circular arc around the eye stands for security.
